Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Whats up man. I'm Alex, and I'm an alcoholic. I don't really know what to do I've quit 7 times and no matter what the bottle keeps finding its way into my hands. I'm not even 21 yet and my alcoholism is off the charts. Started with a beer or two on the weekend. Then i finally got drunk amd i loved it. I became a bottle in the morning kinda guy. And i dont know. Alcohol has been a problem with me and my family for too long... What do i do.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

If you are serious about recovery, the best place to start is with your doctor who can discuss treatment options with you. Or, you can walk into any AA meeting and try those. They were a huge help for me.
You can google meetings in your area.
God Bless
You've done the hard part by admitting you're alcoholic now what you need to do to ensure complete success is find a good stable support system. Yes your family and friends will help but you need to extend your support network wider than just people you know. A non judgemental programme and/or counselling. What programme you decide upon is up to you - there are many available. Don't give up though, if the first programme you choose isn't for you then try the next.
You also need to educate yourself about the affects of alcohol to both body and mind and give some thought to what makes you pick up the bottle - you can discuss this with your doctor and take advice from them.
Good luck x
Also online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy courses as contingency management may help - just throwing ideas out there.
