Look around at your meeting; youll see smiles. Look again and youll see joy and hope. Look again and youll see people who are growing younger everyday.

As soon as she got to the play area she run of to join 4 of her friends they all had these high boots on and were checking each others out while giggling and hugging each other .
That excitement that was mentioned in the reading was there I left with a tear in my eyes because I am so blessed to be here to have had the time to see my children grow and now there children growing.
This would not have been happening if I had been drinking. For many reasons.

Yes yes and yes! So many things I am childlike over, full of wonder & excitement over the smallest things. Birds excite me, fish excite me, bugs excite me, butterflies excite me, beautiful flowers excite me, dragonflies excite me, horses excite me, if I see a deer or a rabbit out in the wild, you'd think I just discovered buried treasure! lol!
I love that the "little things" make me happy!! I have to go and color in my daughter's Dr. Seuss coloring book now... hee hee.. :)
Oh and my daughter brought over some toys for me to take to my niece who's pregnant that belonged to the child she babysits and I opened the box and played with them....shhhh...don't tell! I think I like the glo-worm the best! ha!
I am almost three years sober and still feeling that pink cloud feeling on many a day. I think sometimes I have picked up where I shut down as a child-at age 8! I see that I can be knocked for this, people get annoyed with my often silly (ridiculous maybe) antics, but I truly feel like I can have light hearted fun.
Boy did booze and misery weigh me down for so so SO long. NO more-I am young again (with a few crows feet around the eyes-just ignore em).
