i have one tomorrow at 6:00. i always look forward to it even though i never have any wisdom to share. one day i will. we are discussing step 11 tomorrow.

rummy needs some love. how come you aren't going back? do you push everyone who might love you away like i do. you have to just go through the motions because you know you need to until it clicks. i'm still going through the motions. i believe it will click and i am hanging on for dear life until it does.

Last one on Friday - my home group and next one quite possibly will be next Friday - unless I get a 12 step call.

OOPS! Last meeting yesterday at 10 next tonight at 6

Haven't been to a meeting since last Tuesday. Wednesday I came down with the crud. For the public's protection (and mine, lol), I'm staying in until this is resolved.

That's why I have lots of friends in AA and a great buddy on this site. Contact of any kind with folks like you are still the bright spot of this drunk's day. I'm supposed to open the meeting I chair tomorrow. We'll see.

I don't think I actually have the crud....but I just feel off today. Real cold.... took my ibuprofen. Seems everything hurts.

One might ask...Why Do you Ask?...Ok for sake of anwser....yesterday...can't say I'm better or worse for it. Next one maybe tomorrow, mabey next tuesday. AA saved my life, but I live my life because I have a full knowledge of my condition, my addiction, my weakness. This in know way means a meeting will keep me safe, sane , sober...but (trying not to AA gurue) if I needed a direction, or were hungry for a drink or a friend...yep you'd find me at a meeting. Grace is good...G

I go to meetings because I love them!! Ha ha how about that! I might not need a meeting. I don't want to quit going to find out. My AA life IS good.

It's been about 8 months sence my last one.
mostly my social anxiety keeps me from going and the look of disapointment on fellow A.A.ers faces.

that reminds me! sober 17 years and got to keep giving back!
We will be going to sobriety under the sun (http://www.aapvconvention.com/) in Mexico in January, that's FUN!
