Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I am angry a lot. It threatens my sobriety. Two or more angry people in the same room makes for a lot of toxic discourse. I think I am not the only one here who can relate.
I see on these boards what SOUNDS like anger in the form of criticism, bad humor, overzealous "tough love", etc. I am guilty for sure of both instigating fights and fueling the fire.
Are you angry and if so, why? I know anger stems from fear, but why the compulsion to win arguments and shrink egos? Why can't we just let things go?
I am asking because I truly need help with this on here and at home.

The one who angers us is the one that controls us......
Also - i learned that only I can allow the anger to happen - if I choose to allow it to make me angry then i deal with it, if i do something about it, then I've dealt with it.
