All of a sudden I got this craving for Hotdogs. Life is good!

Coffee is coffee *GAG* and that stuff at Starbucks isn't coffee it's a modified milkshake if anything. It's for people who want that caffeine jolt of coffee without having to taste coffee. Seriously, if you add more than cream and sugar to coffee, you are not drinking coffee anymore.
Give me tea any day, anytime. I am drinking some right now :D to be cheap I use the Lipton cause it is good tea and on the off occasion I will usually drink Tazo. I like my tea strong too. An 8oz cup of mine will harbor 3 bags. no sugar...Damn Texas and their SWEET TEA. once you add sugar to tea you are no longer drinking tea, you are drinking brown kool-aid!

Bob, you live in Maine! It's a shock to me that you don't like snow. I tell you what...let's trade. I will move up there and you can come down her to Texas where it ices over for only two days in Feb. No snow, just ice and it only lasts 2 days.

First of all have a great weekend.

I only drink Nescafe decaf which contains no more than 3mg of caffeine per serve. A standard serve of NESCAFE Coffee contains on average 62mg of caffeine.

I also like most herbal teas and I also take my own when going to meetings other than my home group.

Though I might be temped to try the vanilla bean flavored coffee Tabor mentioned . That way I would get the whole 62mg of caffeine and alcohol to boot .lol

Half measures avail us nothing.

macaddict - can you get Yorkshire Tea over there - if so you should try it. For an average priced tea it brews really well.

I dont like coffee at all and feel very left out a lot of the time. I spend a lot of time in Starbucks and a cup of tea doesnt sound anywhere near as exciting as various coffees that I hear other people ordering.

Macaddict, I have to buy the red rose tea, wife collects the little Wade animals :) It's not that I don't like snow, I just don't like to shovel it and drive through it. But snow in and of itself is a beautiful natural phenomenon. I would glad swap places with you! Bring some warm clothes with you when you come and some studded snow tires!:)

Billy! Dunkin donuts is ok but not quite strong enough for me. The only food I like with vanilla bean in it is Ben & Jerry's ice cream! I had a free sample on a tour of the factory and it was absolutely heavenly!

Sober 2day. There's something about a coffee rush that lights a fire under my ass and gets me going in the morning!

I like any coffee that does not taste like dog shit! The stuff in my frig seems to taste like dog shit! It is folgers....but it is prob over year old now...the AA coffee is fine for me...I do have a Saturday morning mens meeting that uses Starbucks....it is a good cup of joe...

I used to grind my own beans when I lived on Guam as we had Guam Coffee Roasters...which imported beans and cooked them...they were fantastic coffee....the owner died of cancer while I was there and it went to hell after that....but good coffee is just that...good!

I own an espresso machine and a drip coffee maker...usually make it in the drip but once in while when I have the milk I will brew cappacino at home with a nice froth on it....

LOL - Let me see- I have to think on this one - do I like rich, gourmet coffee better than the cheap, stale, awful AA coffee? Thinking........

If you put enough milk and sugar in it - you can get it down - and it won't rot your stomach - as opposed to that cheap,stale coffee with high acid content that burns all the way down - just don't drink it black.

That works for me.

To brew a good cup of gourmet coffee always start with fresh, locally roasted beans!

Grind them yourself immediately before perking, perk with filtered water or spring water and enjoy! mmmmmm

Remember, air makes coffee stale so time is of essence to brewing the perfect cup!

Pour in a big mug and take it with you to your next meeting!

We have a relatively new coffee available here on the UK market.

It is 'Kenco Millicano' and it says 'wholebean instant'. Fine-milled. Instant and Roast & Ground Arabica Coffee.

I have my coffee strong and black and this one kicks a good punch and even leaves the nice 'stain' around the top of the cup! I don't drink it after about 8pm!

Nickyj...I am with you. As I only drink black coffee, I always feel left out in the coffee shops too :( Any excuse to have biscuits or cake or chocolate! haha

Oh my! I need a little cream to REALLY bring out that coffee flavor!

Cannot stomach black but anyone who can will save the calories that cream and sugar have,

I like the Millicano too M8 - it's a step up from normal instant but easy to use when I can't be bothered to make real coffee. I never know how much coffee to put into my cafetiere.

I like Starbucks - Costa isn't bad either.

At my home group the teapot is so disgusting that I have taken to having coffee and at this meeting the coffee is real. We only have about 20 people (which is big for around here) and most drink tea!

If I am buying real coffee I tend to buy Illy's.

Nicky, I am not sure if that tea is here, but the next time I go shopping I will surely check. It has been a few years since I last bought tea. My work provides coffee, tea, sugar, creamers and even hot chocolate. I usually have a cup or two a day when at work so never really had a need for any at home.

Bob, I will have to buy a whole new set of rims with the studded tires. I just checked the law and in some places you can't wear the studded tires ALL the time. A new set of rims and tires is going to cost me upward of 3000$. Of course it will give me a reason to buy a brand new wardrobe and a trench coat. I have never owned one, but I hear they are heavy. I would most likely have to live in one of the larger cities, like Bangor or even Portland as I am sure the tech jobs out there are few and far between.

Mac! There are alot of tech jobs from Portland South, just look at the Sunday newspaper classifieds. North of Portland is mostly poverty. Alot of poor retirees who sell their pain medicines to supplement their social security.

I can't remember what state you live n but here in Maine you can put on studded tires Oct 2 and take them off May 1. No need to purchase new rims they can use the rims you have now, and you should be able to get a good set for under $500.

Those will get you to any meeting no matter how slippery it is and take your coffee or tea with you when you go, it will be a nice drive! :)
