Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I feel so much better! I felt like shit for 21 days after 8 months of sobriety. Like I've said I had 7 years and 10 months, then the last 7 shaky, a month, a year, 2 years, I have been sober about 10 out of the last 14 years. I feel like I'm back on track. The craving is gone. The first 3 days were rough, but I'm seated firmly on the wagon again. The night before New Years Eve, I just said screw it, I'm getting drunk! What could a half pint of whiskey and a 6 pack of bud light tall boys hurt? I thought it would be ok once in awhile...and it turned into every day for 21 days. TG that's over. It amazes me how my brain talks me into that shit. All I had to do was not give in and say no! But I gotta learn everything the hard way...It's a journey, not always perfect!

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
