Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

One thing for sure your not alone and there is a solution but I have to say you have to be done before things really change.
For me relief and freedom came in acceptance.
Black out drinking == alcoholism in my opinion. But you may have a different "bar" and as long as you keep that bar between you and a solution, is probably as long as you will keep relapsing.
Here was an interesting story I heard on NPR the other day. The eating disorder part didnt resonate with me so much as the admiting we are alcoholic piece.

There are many ways to stop drinking. But there is more to quitting drinking than just quitting drinking...
Hugs,

I could not have sobered up on the sly. I needed other sober people to tell me how they sobered up. Good luck on your first day. It could be the beginning of the rest of your life. Hugs, Dianna
