I'd love to not worry about it, but it's hard when you're being treated so unfairly. People used to say I had diseases and wouldn't touch me except to hurt me.

i don't have this but i'd like to add my comment to it. the time genre we live in NOW is very judgemental, for what reason? ppl have such hatred torwards one another just bc they don't like an appearance on that human. in my opinion they only enjoy satisfaction of bringing someone down by their weakness in order to build themselves up and feel better about themselves. ppl are so intrigued with how easy it is to hate they forgot how to love, accept, and equality. i can't sit here and say i know how you feel cuz honestly i don't i'm a light hispanic but i can only imagine how broken you must feel on this bullying bc of somethin u had no choice in deciding. know deep in your heart that you are beautiful, god does NOT make ugly ppl bc we are all in HIS image. stay strong! ppl will always find faults in others, don't let the hatred from others affect ur daily life. fuck wht they say!!! accept ur self for who you are, bc who you are is somethin u had no decision in. life life boo. like i said i don't completely know wht ur goin thru but if u need someone to listen u can always ALWAYS msg me! i'm a friend to all i don't judge and i don't turn away. i'll help u the best of my ability. i'm terribly sorry u r goin thru this but u will b ok and u need to know ur own strength and everythin will turn from dark to light. ppl will accept u, even if it's only on here. stay strong babe i have faith in u

I think albinos are beautiful. I used to always wish I was, until I found out how it can make life difficult, like exposure to the sun. That was mentioned in my A&P class.

I didn't know that albinos were treated unfairly.

Sorry if I offended, I just read a post about how the term can be hurtful. I am still learning about albinism, and want to be supportive and understanding should someone with albinism come into my life.

I met someone very very special who happened to have albinism. He got the stares and the looks...and once there was a little girl who came up to him and asked him, in a most serious tone.."Are you a ghost?"
Without blinking a gorgeous silver eyelash he replied. "No, Sweety..I'm a friendly vampire."
The biggest grin spread across her face and she looked up at the cloudy sky and said, "Then its a good thing its cloudy today!"

He made light of his so-called afflictions and turned them into something positive...daily. After that day I affectionately called him my little "vamp".
