Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

the trauma which sent my eldest foster daughter into cps protective custody gave her a severe case of separation anxiety at the ripe old age of 2. she is 5 now has healed quite allot since she came to live with us in august, 2019. but still suffers quite allot of the symptoms. helping her heal has been a treacherous balancing act between compassion for all she has suffered and setting firm, easily understood limits for inappropriate behavior, even when i don't agree with the person i am trusting. maybe especially then.
i am 67 now, but sometimes i still need the support of others who care enough to let me know when i am losing it. support i didn't receive as a child and suffered greatly for the lack. such trust comes hard under the nagging fears of anxiety, but the healing power of trust is unlimited.
dunno if this ramble has any relevance to your own case, or not, but it is what farted into my twisted brain. just sharing. . .
keep venting and sorting, christian. your own answers are in there.
How about you turn to another source of support such as a counselor, friend, teacher, anyone who might acknowledge that anxiety does exist and is affecting you? wishing you the best.
