Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

I feel super anxious in groups of 3+ because I feel just listing is eves dropping and is rude... but if I say any thing I feel acquired and scared that I will be unaccepted... but
in passing period I feel a lot less stress.. because each of us has a place to go and are not trying to talk to me...
does anyone else get extra stressed in situations when your expected to talk to people, but not as much in large crowds where there is no pressure to talk?
thanks for any info...

I get like that when I go to one of my sisters parties. She's an artist so she's always having some kind of party. When I don't know anyone. It's really hard for me to interact.

I have a very similar problem. I hate when I have to do group work for school because I feel the pressure to have to talk to people but I am too afraid of sounding stupid, or being rejected type of thing. For instance, I have a theatre final coming up where I have to work with a partner and I'm dreading it so much and I want to avoid it and just stop going, but I know it will only make my social anxiety worse. I think I've learned over the past couple of years that avoiding social situations will just add to the social anxiety and if you do go to things, just be proud of yourself for being there. I've also learned that I overanalyze myself way too much and people don't normally do that to people, even if it may seem like people are looking at you weird or whatever, they're probably not in reality. You're not the only one though!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
