Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
A lot of people get catfished and scammed over the internet. That part is the same as real life. I too spend a lot of time online, but have never been hacked or badly scammed online. Knock wood, as my grandparents used to say. I stay busy on several social sites. Dailystrength and Facebook are a couple of my favorites, but lately I like Quora best because Facebook has too many nutcases.
I am very reluctant to put personally-identifying information online. Some people have weird motives and do crazy things. Still, you are generally safer in your home than anywhere else. Every time someone unexpected rings the doorbell, I wonder if it's the grim reaper. Last time it was a delivery guy leaving a bunch of packages I never ordered. LOL! He had turned down the wrong street., but luckily, I caught him, so I didn't have to worry about what to do with the boxes and what might be in them.
Anyway, I enjoy going to art galleries and museums because they are usually not too crowded. I don't like sporting events for dozens of reasons. Sometimes I will go to a concert or play, but it's usually a spur of the moment thing. If I have time to think about it, I'll usually bail. What about you?
