Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

Does he get his medications from a psychiatrist?
I am hoping they are weaning him off the Klonopin, and switching him to mirtazipine (Remeron is the brand name) which is a different class of drug than Klonopin, but it is for anxiety and major depression and also insomnia (from what I just Google'd).
I am hoping he can get to his psychiatrist to work with them for a medication plan.
I guess be there for him, listen to him, try to be optimistic, do the best you can for him.
