Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

there's this flower lady that works at the grocery store.. I wanted to get her flowers.. but I've never talked to her and I keep stopping here for lunch wanting to talk to her but I'm afraid of the rejection. What should I say? Is it okay to ask a stranger if they are single? Is it rude? I don't want to creep her out cause I walk by sometimes while she's working and will glance her way but I don't stare... but I feel like I'm always sad looking because I'm nervous. Oh what's the use? Would it be weird to just buy her flowers? I wish I didn't hate myself nd think I was so gross looking. Maybe I am and I should just give up hope... again..

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
never give up. there's someone for everyone. i know i look harder for the inner beauty than the surface beauty.
for what it's worth
romance fan i ain't, but i'm a huge believer in aroma therapy with flowers being my favorite providers of therapeutic aromas. all the flower folks i know personally enthusiastically agree.
If she works in the flower section, then that is such a perfect way to start talking. Ask her ALL she knows about flowers. Make it clear that you are not buying for a girlfriend or wife. Say it's for your sister/friend/neighbor/ etc.
Best not to ask her out or ask if she's single, right away. Start by talking just about flowers first. Start slow. You could ask if she likes working at this store. But don't bring up anything personal about her..... just yet.
And again, make sure and say it's for "your sister" and you can say "I don't have a girlfriend or anything....." (this is important to say out loud to her).
You can do this! You got this! Just a simple conversation to start. Take your time with this and it should all work out.
Why don't you just talk a little small talk and ask how her day is going and go from.there.. And if the talk goes well, ask to meet publicly somewhere for lunch and exchange numbers. If she says she has a boyfriend, well then you know she is not single.
Life is full of rejection. And it is ok to be rejected if it is your first. It is how we learn
I cut the stems shorter and immediately put in water. I change the water daily and trim the stems again . You can tell her you’ve heard about this but what does she think.
Next time you see her, wave and say hi and don’t be aggressive or pushy. Get to know her first. She may look pretty or nice but isn’t. Our imaginations run wild sometimes.
