Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

Supermarkets, Shopping malls... anywhere not in a cardboard box really. I feel so small, so worthless and insignificant amount the busy world rushing around me.
Everyone I walk past seems to have an agenda, an importance and a life... I just walk around blinded by the bright lights and chatter.
I went to Costco on the weekend, as I walked through the isles I just felt my toes tingling, from there sharp pains start slithering through my body into my chest making me feel paralyzed.
I can't get out of the real world fast enough.

first of all you are not worthless or non important, you write what I am always feeling, to me I feel you are very creative. I do understand how you feel. but please try to see yourself for who you are , a person who has a disability and a person who has worth, please hold your head up and look for the positive things you have to offer, and to tell you the truth sometime the regular people are the ones with the disability they lack compassion for anyone who may be different. take care

A common feeling I am most definitely the same way, I do try not to allow it to tear me limb from limb although not always possible, people these days are in more of a rush than ever but the difference is we look for meaning in what we do they don't have that issue they can rush around to go nowhere and do nothing, we seek for reason, purpose, sensory overload comes in fast and hard and can be like a concussion and flash bang going off in our face, I imagine what it would be like if we all dropped to our knees and screamed our pain would it be noticed or would people just keep walking in their strange disassociated rush to nowhere way.

Your life is important. You should think of seeing a therapist, and a doctor who could give you some medicine to make you feel better. It sounds like how you feel is the depression talking, not you. It's the quality of our life is so important. We are all special...even if we don't see this in ourselves right now..Every person has gifts and talents. It's up to us to find out what these are.You can communicate very well with the way you write....not everyone can do this. You have talents you probably don't know you even have ! I know what kind of world we are living in, negative. But, I also know a world we can make for ourselves, positive. Let's focus on the positive, and not always on the negative. I am no Pollyanna, but, I know with a positive attitude, I made my life the best that I can. We are not alone. Being on this site, reminds me of this.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
