Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

hi I am 25 year old female and I suffer from panic disorder, social anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder. girl, trust me I completely understand what you are gong through. although I suffer from these disorders I forced myself into a situation where I don't have a choice but to be out in the world(college), anxiety and all. it is an exhausting battle but I try so hard EVERYDAY. when I first started college I would say I am going to have a panic attack. and guess what? I had a panic attack. they say that we can speak things into existence. trust me, I know that it is easier said than done but its important to try really hard to stay positive. it is not a cure but it helps me get through the day a lot easier. I say to myself, " I am in control of what happens today, and I will not panic if I don't want too" . of course their are times that I panic anyway depending on the situation, but positive results lead to positive outcomes. I know your struggle and I can relate. I really hope this post gives you some kind of comfort. stay strong and good luck!

Hi, I have panic attacks too. I was told by my therapist to take a deep breath in and slowly let it out. Do it a few times maybe even 3. This has helped me when I start to have a panic attack. Try and stay positive and don't tell yourself you will have a panic attack. I know they are very terrifying. Even if you do have one try to do the breathing. Just remember you won't die from a panic attack but you may feel like it. Also if it were me I would tell the dentist you suffer from panic attacks. Then if start to have one raise your hand or finger to let him know to stop working on you so you can do some breathing. I know it may be embarrassing but I would do it when it comes to panic. I hope this helps you even a little bit.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
