Nobody outside my family too.

My sister knows as I almost always sleep at her house but it doesn’t really matter as my youngest nephew wet the bed too.

It would be a shame if my friends knew it but with my close relatives it’s different. My sister used to wet the bed too and it sometimes still happens.

All my family as I grew up with it. Work mates, as we
travelled and camped out a lot in our work. General public as I helped found and chair a support charity involving public speaking/conferences and TV as a "consumer" of continence services, supporting other incontinent people and fighting stigma in healthcare.

My whole family knows that I wet the bed. Which was not avoidable due to how close my parents are to my family and they talk about everything. Then sleeping with the younger relatives I have been the last one still wearing protection at night. Can't hide it when you have a diaper but an hour before bed time.
Have a few close friends that know but they have been mostly cool with it.

So currently my roommate, former partner and some medical professionals I'm seeing are the only ones that know for sure.
Plus you all lol..
My friends, some of whom I've traveled with either know or may suspect.
I'm as discreet as possible and if they are aware, then they're giving me maximum space!
I'm going away with some of them next week so time will tell, I'm sure none of them would be weird about it

When I was younger pretty much everybody in my family and extended family knew. Whenever we visited relatives or parents friends I had my designated bed and there was always a plastic sheet protecting the mattress. Of course also wearing thick cloth diapers with plastic pants made it obvious to everybody. I had one particular good friend that spent most every weekend at our house ( his home situation sucked), that knew because he’d sleep on the floor next to my bed. I had my own television! Anyway the noisy plastic mattress cover and diapers were not possible to hide. He never made a big deal out of it however.

Growing up I knew of a couple of friends who had family members who wet the bed and wore the cloth and plastic pant in bed. Moms usually diapered them a half hour or so before bedtime and so I would see them with the diaper bulge under the nightgown or pj's and hear the plastic pants rustle as they walked, also would hear the plastic sheets on their beds make noise when they got into bed.

Arrgh! That tell- tale crinkle climbing into bed! Undoing all the camouflage and concealment we had done already and getting a wave of laughter in the school dormitory or sleeping with cousins or friends on holiday......!

Yes but also knew of some cousins who had them on as well so no laughter. Remember after supper there would be diapers and plastic pants on bed in parents room waiting to be put on. Kids were called into room to wait their turn,

My whole family knew I was a bedwetter and was in diapers for it. It was never really kept a secret, it was too hard to hide. My family on my Mothers side is very close and we spend lots of time together. When we were younger we spent every weekend in the summer at the family cottage and when it was getting close to bedtime i was always dressed first as i took the most time. They all saw and knew i was getting diapered for bed and like an eariler post i had the plastic sheets on my bed all the time.

Still do this day my whole family knows i still have wetting issues and know that i am in diapers full time.

Hi Taylor! Like you I am what docs call a "lifelong". As a kid it became for me not just what I did, but who I was. And to other folk it would be a lifelong sentence ahead - "Once a bedwetter, always a bedwetter". The one thing they remember about you from junior school/seniors/ uni and beyond - "oh of course - I remember - you were "king of the bedwetters in our school isn't that right ? Wet dorm and rubber sheet?!" Thanks a bunch you think, knowing you're wearing a pad and rubber pants

My family knows, and now that's just my sister and her boyfriend.
Also two of my friends know. One of those is an old friend from when I was at school and the other one is a newer friend who I share a bed with sometimes.

Being a lifelong wetter and in need of diapers my family at school and health professionals knew.
Now it is my dear friend and my care-mommy who know about it.

I've been a bedwetter nearly my whole life. Never wore diapers and plastic pants growing up, as they weren't readily available.
Stopped wetting around age 18 ( in 1969).
Was sporadic for several years, then started and stopped again. Well it started back up with a vengeance at age 27, and now continues today. Age 71 now. I now wear diapers and plastic pants nightly

I can think of another "tribe" who know - Sleepover Kids and Adults, Families with whom I have slept over and those who have slept over with us. Usually a mutual discovery and often basis for new friendship among both kids and adults. Imagine the mutual support and sharing by both sides! Uh-oh you have that problem too - how do you cope? That phone call or letter between parents: the shock of recognition between kids. I can think of plenty instances in my own life
