Adult Bedwetting Community Group
A place for adults who still have problems wetting the bed to talk about their feelings, to discover solutions, and to talk about life in general.

I've had this come up a bit on here...
Who all has had good and bad experiences with being in a relationship as an adult bedwetter. I guess I am looking for some hope. 2 men in my lifetime have known and neither knew how to handle it. One would get angry with me while the other treated me like a little kid because of it. I've wrote of dating completely because I don't want to have to tell a man I care about and risk him leaving because of it. So i just don't date. It was the easiest solution for me but it is such a lonely solution. Any input?

Hello everyone IAM back in the mental health unit at hospitalĀ I've been sectioned under the mental health act for my own safety my daughter as been taken into careĀ

It took A wile to find A night diaper that would keep my bed dry I am A side sleeped and diap diapers leak.finly I got to cloth pin on worked goodbed is not dry most morninings
So anyway, I decided that I needed to tell her and I choose a place and time to tell her. We had done a good hike at a wildlife refuge, and it was post hike sitting in the truck that I picked to tell her. Apparently I was a little too apologetic since by the time I told her, "I occasionally pee in the bed." she was like, " Oh that is all, I thought you had a terminal illness." LOL. She totally was cool with it. and said, "So, everyone has something that is no big deal but they think it is."
So be honest and if the person is not open move on cause I found out when it comes to true love they will understand.
I've had past relationships that didn't work out because of it (even one gf who had really bad nocturia but still didn't accept bedwetting).
Now I'm in a long term relationship and have never felt so accepted! It did take a while to get used to being comfortable with it for me but if it's meant to be it will be :)
Everyone has pros and cons in their personality traits. Some you choose, some you can't control.
Trust me I wasn't always so optimistic, I was ready to be alone, clinically depressed, had severe (some life threatening) medical issues... But there's hope over time, stay strong :)
