I realize this is going to vary, as per the living arrangements of the individual, but I'm asking anyway.
How long do you keep your diaper on in the morning, before you change?
If I'm dry, I remove it immediately, and use the bathroom. If I'm wet (which is usually), I make no rush to remove it. If In going to be home, I may leave it on, have coffee, maybe wet it again if it's not already completely soaked. If I'm leaving the house, I remove it as part of washing up before I get dressed.
How do other people play it? Does it not really bother you to keep the diaper on, or can you not wait to get out of it?

In 2013 I had an accident resulting in spinal injury at the base of my neck with paralysis from there down, spasticity (muscle contractions and spasms) and double incontinence. As for weekends/days off, like others have said, it depends. On weekends I get up early to watch soccer so if it is relatively dry then I may leave it on until another wetting. Granted, I am incon 24/7 so for me it would just mean changing into another diaper as opposed to underwear. I guess that's a huge difference for someone who only is a night wetter and decides to stay in it by choice. But as I mentioned earlier, I don't have dry mornings so best case scenario is the once in a blue moon semi-dry night if I'm lucky. Otherwise my night diaper is usually pretty soaked by morning plus I tend to move around to whatever position is comfortable throughout the night so lots of tossing and turning. I find that this plus the multiple wettings during the night will make me need to change upon waking.
I always prefer to change before leaving the house either way. But in terms of being in a wet diaper, I'm fairly used to it so it doesn't "bother" me necessarily but at the same time a dry diaper is much preferred to a wet one.
Half the time, I am dry, thankfully, so I don't need to go through all of these steps. It can get to be a real hassle! A lot of work!
Does anyone else find they have the same? I assumed it would be quite common to others with similar issues.
