I use the Tena Slip Maxi all in one nappies which are very absorbant. I am almost always wet in the morning so I get up, go and make the tea, shower and change into a dry one just as part of getting dressed. Sometimes at the weekends that can be up to an hour after waking up depending on how wet I am.

I didn't mention that I've been wearing abena L4 lately, so that's another highly absorbent diaper.

It all depends on how wet I am, but I will usually have at least a cup of coffee first.

I never rush to change. If my nappy isn't leaking I just stay in it until it won't hold any more.

I'm like ST50, I never rush to change if my diaper isn't leaking. I rather like the feel of the drooping diaper and plastic pants rubbing against my inner thighs.

I wear 24/7 and have almost no control now, when I get up I change into a dry nappy, but stay in my pj's. I know that not long after breakfast I will have seriously wet again, after this I get dressed for the day.

I have little or no control either.

During the week when I get up for work it is generally the first thing I do after getting out of bed to go workout or shower. Being a nightly bedwetter, I don't have dry mornings so I have to clean up before I workout for obvious reasons.

As for weekends/days off, like others have said, it depends. On weekends I get up early to watch soccer so if it is relatively dry then I may leave it on until another wetting. Granted, I am incon 24/7 so for me it would just mean changing into another diaper as opposed to underwear. I guess that's a huge difference for someone who only is a night wetter and decides to stay in it by choice. But as I mentioned earlier, I don't have dry mornings so best case scenario is the once in a blue moon semi-dry night if I'm lucky. Otherwise my night diaper is usually pretty soaked by morning plus I tend to move around to whatever position is comfortable throughout the night so lots of tossing and turning. I find that this plus the multiple wettings during the night will make me need to change upon waking.

I always prefer to change before leaving the house either way. But in terms of being in a wet diaper, I'm fairly used to it so it doesn't "bother" me necessarily but at the same time a dry diaper is much preferred to a wet one.

With me it depends how wet my diaper is when I wake up. I almost always read the paper and have morning coffee in my wet diaper. If I have to go in the meantime, I find it rather convenient to just add to my diaper.

If I wake up wet, I don't necessarily race to the bath room. I will read the paper, check my email, etc. in my "evening wear.'" I don't generally change until I am ready to hit the shower and get dressed.

I usually wait until I’m ready to shower because I’m likely to need the diaper on before I do. Sometimes I’m very wet when I get up and have to take it off immediately, but usually not.

As soon as possible! I do not like waking up wet. I will arise, remove my diapers/waterproof pants, deposit them properly, clean up and have coffee.
Half the time, I am dry, thankfully, so I don't need to go through all of these steps. It can get to be a real hassle! A lot of work!

After I wake up I want to get out of them as soon as possible although I can’t really do that. Wetting is a nightly occurrence for me, it’s just a case of how much, but a problem I also have after I get out of bed is that gravity has quite an effect on me so for the first 20 minutes or so I have to leave them on. I also find it can be quite difficult to tell when that dribbling stops.

Does anyone else find they have the same? I assumed it would be quite common to others with similar issues.
