I am still coping with wetting my bed again after many years. I do not want anyone to find out about it and thankfully I live alone. I don't let people in my room unless they have to be there. My bed is made but I don't have any special mattress pads or anything ion it anyway. My diapers and waterproof pants are in a drawer of my dresser but no one better be opening the drawers to my dresser for any reason. In the mornings when I shower I take my wet diapers to the basement and put them in a small pail with a lid. I wash them 2 or 3 times a week so they don't pile up and smell, and in the basement laundry room people who might come over won't discover them. I make sure if I detect any urine odor at all that I open a bedroom window to air it out. Since my problem is bedwetting, I only need to wear protection in my bedroom at night. In the morning when I shower, I take my cloth protection, diapers, off and directly to the basement. This prevents odor along with anyone stumbling across my night protection. I'm finding out if you are careful and a little paranoid, no one has to know about your problem if you live alone.

Maybe I was lucky?. In the extended family it was a joke & open secret. For 12 years in boarding-school and vocational training with communal living I was always The Bedwetter. So "nothing was hidden"; and all but "proclaimed from the housetops"! Today I "wash & go and take in stride". A minor disability or handicap.

I'm 25 and in a wheelchair. I need adult diapers and underpads. People can't really tell in in diapers unless the see the bulge in front. I protect my wheelchair with a big underpad which is very visible and I'm embaresed but. I need full protection. When it's cold outside my caregiver puts a blanked over my laps and it somewhat hides it

I go to great lengths to hide it and the most hard to hid is visiting and staying the night at someone's house. I now take an air bed and take my duffle bag to the bathroom and put on protection there, but I do have to remember to take soft backed diapers so there isn't a diaper rustle when I walk and quiet plastic pants. I wet a friends couch once and his roommate wanted it replaced for $1700. That was a horrible thing to go through. My wife supports and understands so that is good.

So so so true. I have gone to great lengths myself. Makes me so sad to think of all I've gone through.
