I have worn cloth with plastic pants at night mostly because I can make them as thick as necessary to handle wetting numerous times and keeping the sheets mostly dry. Disposables of any kind leak badly overnight. Cloth however are just too bulky for daytime use so I use Abena x plus for that and can get by with only using 2 of those each day. From a comfort standpoint I find both types of diapers just fine to wear. There are times of course when I order my Abenas too late online and have to wear my cloth diapers a few days in a row, but as I said its pretty easy to tell I have on diapers if anyone cares to notice. During the day the fact that cloth feels very wet causes me to change more often. With the Abenas I know their wet but they stay pretty comfortable even after many hours of use.

I have not found an all-in-one reusable nappy that can cope as well as the Tena maxi that I usually use. I am thinking about terry nappies and plastic pants for night time. But we are lucky in the uk that we can get our incontinence products supplied on the NHS but not reusable products as they do not supply them. There is no cheap way of trying terry nappies and plastic pants as an alternative, which makes things difficult.

Have used cloth with plastic pants overnight forever and find them much better at keeping things dry. The bulkiness however is too much for daytime use. I use Abena xpluses during the day and am very happy with them. They hold a lot and can often last 12+ hours. Both types of diapers are equally comfortable to wear.

I started with Depends which hold 15oz of fluid, the ones with tapes. I kept overflowing their capacity at night. I bought the Depends pads and and put them inside for doubling, they stopped making them. I currently use Depends with a flow through soaker, a cloth pullup over that and high back plastic pants . Sometimes that works great, sometimes it over flows. I use a 30" x 60" bed pad that is washable, just in case. I decided to buy cloth pullup protection but they are too expensive and some I've tried don't soak fluid, they are designed for those not actually needing protection, they are very comfy but don't absorb. I made a pair of flannel pull ups for protection 8 layers think but it took about a week of evenings to make using the sewing machine. They take about 90 minutes to wash and dry which adds a lot of electrical cost to a night's accidental wetting. I just ordered the Tranquility through the night disposables which hold double the amount Depends does so 28oz. is great, I'll put the flow through doublers in that and see how it works...when they arrive. I've tried being economical, but it's not realistic due to costs. Hoping, Hoping, Hoping the Tranquility through the night solves my overflowing and nights will be much better for me.

I use cloth diapers and plastic pants and they work fine, I do double them up (or quad them up actually) with padding, I use very thick hand towels, which are expensive, but they soak the best. Because of the bulk, I need something to hold all the layered up cloth close to me to prevent leaks. I found that the only thing that works for this is women's support briefs. They are a nylon full high cut brief and stretchy in all directions so they pull all the cotton close to me and that helps prevent leaks. Then over that I use high waste plastic pants. But I prefer disposables that have super absorbent polymer for night time when I can, they are very expensive as we all know.

I've used cloth diapers and plastic pants for many years but never checked to see if a service is a round
that does adult diapers. I have about 60 adult size small and 90 super toddler size as a booster
and the wash machine gets loaded every other day with diapers.

I agree cloth is more comfy but for a heavy wetter they fill up too fast and leak. For light wettings they are the best.

I have tried terry or cloth nappies and found them very good at keeping the bed dry when used with snug fitting plastic pants. The down side is the work involved in laundering them.

Cloth diapers (pin on) with high waisted plastic pants are by far the best solution to overnight wetting. I often sleep on my side and unless I wet multiple times while sleeping, I rarely have any leaking problems. A plastic mattress cover is always advised, just in case.

I agree, they are most comfy, I however rely on layered soakers and the SAP (super absorbent polymer) in the disposables to contain the volume of fluid nightly. High back plastic pants are a must! Especially UltraFlex Polyureathane Hi-Back Pants because they last so much longer than vinyl which cracks after about 1/2 years wearing nightly.

I used to sleep in terry nappies and plastic pants but eventually switched to tena maxi slips. Terry nappies are cheaper in the long run than disposables but expensive to buy initially. The down side is the work in laundering them and they do smell when wet.

For me cloth diapers are the best at night.I am a side sleeper.
I did not all ways wet in 2013 I fell on some ice and hurt my back.

For nighttime use I can't even imagine using anything but cloth. Disposables always leak regardless of brand or thickness. You will certainly save money in the long run.

I've used cloth diapers for most of my life and have very little problems with them.I do use a toddler Prefold just in case of a mess. I do use a disposable at work.
