Hello, just looking for reccommendations for the best protection for adult bedwetting (pull - ups versus nappies? and bed pads). I have purchased a waterproof mattress cover but in need of more. I am based in the UK. Thank you in advance.

The only or best solution I’ve ever found is thick cloth diapers with plastic pants. Only minor leaks 1-2 nights a week. I usually wet more than once a night and wake up pretty soaked. Disposables, even the quality kind I use for daytime use just don’t work for me. Being a side sleeper doesn’t help.

Personally I use the Abena M-4's because they fit better. With adult nappies you want to prioritize finding a product that fits well to prevent leaking. The M-4's are said to fit waist sizes 70 to 110 cm and if you are close to the board of the different sizes I would say go with the smaller size if they fit you.

Lots of good advise here. Lifelong nightly bedwetter that have tried almost every line of protection solution. I depend on quality disposables briefs during the day but at night the only or best solution has always been cloth diapers with plastic pants. I go multiple times in my sleep, and sleep on my side, and thick cloth diapers do the best job of keeping the sheets mostly dry. I also have a plastic cover over the mattress for the one or two nights a week I get minor leaks. Pin diapers on tightly and get plastic pants that are roomy for thick diapers but also well fitted around legs and waist. Also touch in all the edges of the plastic pants as that helps contain the wetness.

Both my anus and my urethra have been left closed except with manual intervention. I hardly ever pass urine via the usual route (I have a suprapubic catheter passing directly into my bladder about 2 inches below my...
