Hi all
I am 21. Have been a bedwetter all my life. Have prayed a lot and still woken up to more wet sheets. I am wondering if it has reached the point where I just need to accept it and find ways to live with it. This also includes telling a future husband. Very daunting... My hope is slowly fading.

I've just been updating my profile information because I had a birthday last week, and so I'm now 25 instead of 24. It doesn't feel any different though!Just so you all know a bit about me: I suffer with anxiety and occasional panic attacks, and sometimes I do an accidental wee in bed while I'm asleep. Now I'm a year older than this time last week I can report that nothing has changed, although...

Yes - certainly accept it and yourself; learn to live with it and yourself.

I always admire kids with challenges: they make it "cool" with colours and style, with stickers and bandanas, with fun and games. with attitude and slang. They banish shame, humiliation, and fear.
Luckily I have spent life as a nomad "on the move" - so have just had to "Wash and Go - Get A Life!"
Almost the same time I went back in diapers, start dating that girl, and at some point, had to tell her about it. And 7 years later, here we are, happily married since an year ago.
Go for it, embrace yourself.
Best of luck.

Update: My bedwetting has gotten much better, only once a month now but occurs on the most unexpected days. The most wonderful thing is that I'm in a relationship with the most understanding man but I still feel so so sad when I bedwet out of the blue after weeks of waking up in a dry bed.
For all in the same situation, you're in my thoughts :)
