I'm looking for some positive stories. Has anyone ended up adopting by unusual circumstances? For instance someone dealing with infertility, and then boom you are presented with the opportunity to adopt. Any stories greatly appreciated.

i recently gave up my daughter. the couple i chose were infertal... i was about 5 months so they were really scared i was going to change my mind. i tried to help them be less nervous by signing papers early... although i had to sign another set after but that only gave me 10 days to change my mind.... i cant tell you all of their feelings. but they made me uncomfortable because i felt like i couldn talk to them or they would change their mind about having an open-adoption, which they did anyway.. just be honset to everyone espically yourself. good luck and god bless

I do not mind sharing! In fact, I think mine is a very UNIQUE & WONDERFUL story!!! I started the group "ADOPTIVE PARENTS" go to that support group & read "MY STORY" if you have any further questions .... PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK!!! I DON'T MIND SHARING !!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
