It is funny, when you go through all the treatments for IF, weeks and days are always counted. 2ww to go to find out if you get BFP. 1 more day for IVF...
I guess I am still in the counting mode, but now it is for a potential adoption. Our interview with Children`s Aid is in 5 days. I am so excited but also reserved. I am trying to stay positive and relaxed, but to be truthful we are so nervous.

Stay calm and try to relax. I know I was a mess but in the end it was not as bad as I had imagined. You will do just fine.

Well we did everything and came so prepared but were not chosen. That is alright, it just means that this is not our child. Ours is still out there, perhaps not born yet, or has been patiently waiting for us.

Duane, please consider children placed in foster care. Many are never returned to their parents, including newborns. We have been called about seven different newborns or sibling pairs with newborns just in the last five days, all in one city. It's worth looking into, and while it has it's own roller coaster ride, we don't have to stress over whether or not mom likes our life book.

I am sorry Duane. I am glad to hear that you are aware that your child is out there; but I can imagine that it was still a disapointment.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
