When you had visited your sister and was in the midst of getting your son tested, i'm sure you felt a little miffed when your sister offered an unsolicited reason for your son's behavior. i know how that feels like, to get advice that was never requested and you are tempted to feel resentful, but fwiw, i don't believe her intentions were bad, though i agree that it was not the best idea for her to offer her opinion. do you think that this may be contributing to your reluctance to tell them? perhaps there is one family member you feel the closer with than others, would you feel comfortable sharing it with that person?
in any case, i hope you take the time to think through these issues and remember not to set a timeline on yourself. praying for all the best =)
Good luck.
I also learned my lesson in over sharing about myself when I was trying to get out and be more social, feels like some look at me differently and basically avoid me. giving it a little more time, since it could just be me being paranoid.
