I'm new to this group, and recently diagnosed with ADHD. My doctor started me on 10mg of Adderall XR. I started taking it yesterday, and have had a nagging headache. Did anyone else expect this side effect, and how long did the headaches last? It's not severe -- I also suffer from migraines, so I definitely know a severe headache. Is it ok to take ibuprofen for the headaches? Thanks for any help!
I had terrible headaches when I started on Adderall XR, (and so did my sister) but they stopped after a month or so. I found that taking advil first thing in the morning helped to keep the headaches away.
