I have legal custody of my two granddaughters. The 4 year, she was diagnosed with ADHD, mood disorder, ODD and RAD. I was wonderding if anyone here has a a child with RAD (reactive attachment disorder) and if so can you give advice on dealing with the child?

with my oldest, we just have to repeatedly assure him he is wanted, loved and especially needed. My oldest never bonded with my husband but instead of having RAD he was rediagnosed with GAD and PTSD.
We dont usualy tell him to do things, but say it like " I really need some help with this, do you think you can help me?" We have found that this really stresses to him that he is needed and wanted as well as appreciated. Hope this article helps out.. :) Keep in touch :)
