I've read that the frontal lobe is affected. I didn't read that it was under developed though. I saw studies on how when people w/ADHD try to concentrate, there's a chemical that's supposed to go to the frontal lobe area but in cases of those w/ADHD, the chemical "pulls away" from that part of the brain. Sorry, not a scientific explanation of what I learned but thought maybe it could help.
no ones frontal lobes are the same- mean people have different frontal lobes than nice people... scared people have different frontal lobes than brave people; it wouldn't surprise me if we all had similarities in our frontal lobes...
however, in some ways i wouldn't think it'd be our frontal lobes that have characteristics in common; i think it'd be our parietal lobes, because they are responsible for attention. whatever the case, its pretty obvious that these so called "genius" brain scientists think they know what causes ADD/ADHD- i wouldn't even listen
