Is there a nice way to tell the school staff that they are not pulling their own weight?
I feel like I am constantly reminding them of deadlines, etc for things that need to be drawn up or turned in on my sons behalf. If they are the ones telling me when the deadlines are, shouldnt they be responsible to meet them, without me needing to remind them?

yes they are responsible if they are telling you that you need to have things to them on time and then they do not follow through on their end. I would definitely say something especially if it is affecting your son at school

I know exactly how you feel. This year I have had to constantly chase around the teachers and my daughters ISP teacher with emails, phone calls, etc. I feel like I have to harrass them and even then I do not get a return email or phone call back. Finally after putting up with it for almost the whole year, I had a meeting with her teachers and finally told them that they are the laziest bunch of teachers that I have ever seen. Of course, when they feel that I am not up to my expectations they will let me know and they have already. They too need to know when they are not doing what they are suppose to be doing. Good Luck with it and I hope you come to a resolution soon.

I find over here in Australia that the teachers and other staff with the education system are great. Its the medicos that I have the problem. I have to chased them all the time. The school has only 174 students so I suppose that has a bit to do with it.

Don't even get me started on this one! My son's teachers e-mail me almost daily about his behavior in the classroom (8th grade, over 30 students in the classroom). I have spoken to the counselor numerous times, and I have been to my son's school to meet with her and the teachers numerous times too. Just after Christmas I lost my cool and stormed up there when I found out one of my son's teachers had gotten in his face and told him to "shut up" when he would not stop arguing with her. (I disciplined my son for his blatant disrespect). I told the counselor this teacher had no right to treat my son this way, that she was supposed to be an example, and an adult. You know, "a teacher!" Then I went and sat in the classroom unexpectedly. We have not had a problem since!

I had these same problem with the schools so I went to a parent advocacy program and got my son a child advocate who represents him with any school problems since they have been dealing with the school things have gotten much better

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
