Addison's Disease Support Group
Addison's disease (also known as chronic adrenal insufficiency, or hypocortisolism) is a rare endocrine disorder. It is estimated that it affects about 1 to 2 in 100,000 people. It occurs when the adrenal glands, seated above the kidneys, fail to produce enough of the hormone cortisol and, sometimes, the hormone aldosterone
A few things I have found that help relieve my nasal allergies are as follows:
- Quercetin - it's a natural antihistamine found in the skin of onions and apples but you can buy this in tablet form. It doesn't have the general drowsiness that over the counter antihistamines have.
- Saline Nasal Spray (Ocean Spray is how it's typically marketed). Flush my nasals out with this all through out the day
- Probiotics. - I always forget to add this into my supplement list on here, but I do take daily probiotics to help my body maintain a good level of friendly bacteria in my body. If I feel an infection coming on then I up my probiotic intake.
I hope these tips help you with your allergies and I hope you are able to find some answers when you see the Lymes specialist. Have a great weekend!

Darla, I find there are times though when you do need to stress dose. For example, I started with a small cold and I was using my normal natural treatments and this time it did not work and the cold rapidly dropped into my lungs and I had an infection. In this case I definitely stress dosed which helped me turn the corner on healing.
