Well, I just found out from blood work that the Addison's is secondary. I'm thinking that because I was on steroids for so long it may have caused it. I know one thing...I'm switching doctors. All I was told is..take your Cortef and call me in a few weeks to see how your doing. When I called because I was having problems I didn't get a call back until the next day. My blood pressure had dropped really low and I thought I was going to pass out. I automatically took another 5 mg.s of Cortef but that office staff doesn't have a clue!!
I'm trying to figure this whole thing out since I have RA and Raynaud's too. I felt pretty good last night compared to the last 5 nights. RA flares are not fun!

If you get to feeling too bad again, I suggest going to the hospital. Make sure someone is with you. Until then, you need to be drinking LOTS of water and eating LOTS OF SALT!
I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. Diagnosis isn't always what it's cracked up to be, without the right doctor.
