pulse rate

Hi all,

I just had a digital arterial pulsewave circulation profiling done and my pulse rate was high and my pulse height was high also. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the pulse height? The technician wasn't very helpful on this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

adrenaline overcompensating for low cortisol...hows you blood glucose?...any other symoptoms...shaikiness ect?

I don't know a lot about this test, but what they are looking at in the pulse height is how elastic the arteries are. If someone has vascular disease, the vessels become less elastic and 'harder'. So, it seems to me that a high pulse height on the test would be good - showing good elasticity of the artery. High heart rate is relative - the range of normal is 60-100, and 'high' could be anything over 100. Hope that helps.

My pulse averages 130 all day that I'm working. If I get to rest at home, it's normal. It stinks working full time with AD.
