I do not have dental implants but my sister in law did have them and almost died because of them. It is very common that within a few years of having a implant done the person developes a pocket of infection at the base of the implant. If not taken care of quickly the infection can spread and go to the heart or in my sister in laws case to her legs and arms. She was so sick and it took months to get the infection out of her blood. She had to have cavitation surgery where the infected bones on the jaw are cut away to allow the mouth to heal. In my work at an alternative health office I also saw many people who had infections from implants and had caviation surgery.
So in my opinion a person with Addison's would be the very last person that should have these done. The immune system is already compromised and would not handle this huge stress. I know this note sounds very harse but I truly have your health in mind.

I'm a bit late responding, but I encountered the same situation last year, after having an upper rear molar removed. I researched the benefits and risks, ultimately deciding No Way. I went for a second opinion with an maxillofacial surgeon, who confirmed upper implants are ill-advised, moreso for those who face health challenges, especially AI. He was actually annoyed with 'push' for implants, but his business is booming for bone restoration!! Apparently, upper implant hardware frequently infiltrates the sinus cavity, causes chronic sinus infections, severs nerves, etc. There is also a chance of bone infection & acceleration of bone loss, regardless of whether implant is upper or lower.
