Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
If all goes well, Jay and Alex will be moving from my home to their own "rented" home in a few weeks. Yippeeeeeee! Here's my question..the home that they will go to is very, very old (1937) with a very old HVAC system. We will be certain to change the filter in the system itself, but I am concerned about the old duct work and the hidden germs there. I've been advised to buy Hepa Air Purifiers to use inside the house, but the broad range of product is confusing.
Have any of you purchased or used these? Do you have any advice or recommendations? The prices are all over the map!

I have a desk top portable one I can move from room to room. I also have 2 floor Honeywell units, one in my family room and one in my bedroom. I had been told they were not necessary, however it made me feel better.

The cost after various discounts was $859. I would expect they do smaller portable units -- as indicated in the video. There might be other better and cheaper ones -- I am not an expert on it. I tend to go with the people I trust and who I usually need when the AC goes out on the 3rd of July just before the arrival of a dozen guests -- if you know what I mean. You might have one of those too, and if so, ask for their recommendation. In the grand scheme of things a couple hundred bucks one way or the other is just not worth worrying about -- it may be there for the next 20 years, so that' only ten dollars per year. So go for quality.
One thing to look for -- this unit is made in the USA, and the bulb replacement cost is reasonable. The unit that I replaced had a bulb replacement cost of $126 -- that's right; and it was a foreign make so it was their way or the highway -- I chose the highway and replaced it. I forgot what the bulb replacement cost is on the Air Gorilla, but I was amazed at the difference. The bulb replacement difference could end up paying for the whole improved unit.
