Dave,

It is ironic that you would ask just as I'm leaving the emergency room. I woke up in the middle of the night with terrible pain on my left side. Probably the worst pain I have ever experienced. Turns out I have two kidney stones. Now it's just a waiting game. The great party of this experience was my labs were great and the ct scan showed ask else normal. Praise almighty God.

As for my brother lee, he is about three fourth the way through his chemo. The first pet scan showed a small improvement but he is hopeful future tests will show better results. He manages to work full time and is holding up pretty well. Thank you so much Dave for your care and concern and most of all for your prayers

This must have been the ER weekend cause I spent most of Saturday there myself. Mine is for a little more embarrassing situation and certainly less painful. Saddle sore from my bike seat. So swollen and black and blue that my wife freaked out when she saw it and insisted I go to the ER. Like you they checked my blood and it was great so that was a relief. I have the go to clinic tomorrow so will have to relive the embarrassment again. LOL!

Sorry about the Kidney Stones. I be praying that goes well as well as Lees treatments. thanks for the update.

you are a beast on that mountain bike of yours. I had several friends at the er this weekend too. Crazy. The doc thought I was a little crazy when I was over the moon with my
cbc and ct results. I have a follow up tomorrow as well. Praying we get past this better for it.

Julie -- still praying for Lee. Nothing that I know of hurts as bad as kidney stones. I never had them and pray I never will, but know plenty of people who do including a good friend of mine who literally seems to come down with some every couple of months. He does everything right and is even a runner -- it is just his cursed system. Hopefully you will get over yours quickly -- the good news is that they are not cancer. Take care -- daveB

Dear all,

My brother just completed his last chemo last week and was admitted to the icu with the dreaded c diff. The good news is per his last pet scan all signs of nhl are gone. When first dxd he had less than a percent of cancer in his bone marrow. He will have a follow up bmb in two weeks to ensure that it is clean. Please pray for Lee's healing from c diff and for complete remission.

Bless you all for your prayers for Lee. He was moved to apriate room after three days in ICU. He was very please to use a normal potty today :-)

Praising almighty God for outstanding news today!!! Lee had a clean PET scan and bmb. His nhl had spread to his marrow. He is overjoyed and asked that I thank each of you for your prayers! I am overcome with gratefulness.
