Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
I agree with all these wonderful group of people on this forum have said.
You are a true warrior. I hate that you have to go through it all. Don't be scared to voice and seek help for your anxieties. Who would not have them, when you are fighting for your life (as Lora put it). You have already shown you are stronger than you think by what you have had to endure. Keep chipping away at it...you still have good treatment options, & new treatments continue to evolve & bring about miracles. Go kick this leukemia! Wishing you a clear biopsy result. Hugs and much love xxx
