My wbc is 2.11 my gran .25 and everything else dropped. Biopsy showed no relapse. I am beside myself. Onc is checking with path to see what is driving the numbers down. Could it be another cancer? All I know right now is there is a God and he answers prayers. Special shoutout to Julie and Lea. Thanks for everything.

I am so so grateful to almighty God for this miracle and answer to prayers. Before I responded to you, my husband my youngest daughter trinity and I got on our knees and praised God. Trinity led the prayer as she has everyday on your behalf. She teared up.

What amazing news!!! I knew this biopsy would be clean. I just knew it.I am so so happy for you and your family. There absolute is A God and he cares for you.

There is a God, and we are all living proof of that. I did not go through the whole AML protocol and was advised to have a transplant. But after 2 inductions and one consolidation only, every day is a gift as Dave Brown say we all have expiration date. God bless everyone in this site patients, families and loves ones. You are all in my prayers.

Thanks everyone. I'm just wondering what could be makin my count so low,especially the anc. Anybody have any ideas. The doc has yet to call back.

Before I was dxd in March of 2013, I had an ANC of 0.02 for three months. A miracle from God that I did not get sick-not even a fever. My hematologists discussed several causes other than cancer. they are:

sequestration by the spleen
autoimmune disorders like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, hishimotos
viral/fungal infections

The key is you are leukemia blast free and had a clean BMB. There are treatments for all of the above. The same disorders can cause low platelets as well. Praying for resolution of this issue.

sgootee, my sister Jo is fighting the same thing with low numbers. She got out of the hospital a week ago because they thought she had an infection but could never find anything, just symptoms. They weren't going to release her until she hit 1 on her WBC but finally let her go at .7 because that's as high as it would go. She did finally reach 1.3 at home. She has continued to have low numbers even after switching her to a less intensive chemo. She is still having to have transfusions and platelets 45 days past her last dose of the lower chemo. They cannot seem to figure it out. Maybe her body just can't take anymore, I don't know.

Praying both of you solve your numbers issue soon. Sometimes it is just the body reacting I guess but it is very frustrating.

Just found out they did find a small number of leukemia cells. Being admitted wed. Prayers would be great.

Prayers sent. Please keep us updated if you are able. Makes me sick to think about, so sorry. And I was feeling sorry for myself for a biopsy I have to get Thursday, seems pretty petty right now.
