Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.

I hope Ben is doing well. I think he is coming up to his 100 day mark. Hopefully the worst is now behind him.

Ben is doing well, the doctors are keeping an eye on those liver enzymes.
Our home is in Canada now. Which part of Southern Ireland are you from? My dad's family was county Cork. I've never been to Ireland, (You know Liverpool is called "little Ireland) In the past many Irish people went to Liverpool and settled there, when conditions in Ireland were bad,
Ben and I have a dream to visit there. Thank God we have many dreams.
How are you? When I think of you women who deal with aml, and are still trying to be there for husband, children and home, It seems an impossible task. You are my heroes,You are all so strong.
Was it you and yours who went ti Disney in France?

I hope Ben is feeling better and congratulations on reaching 100 days! What a fabulous milestone. Praying for a quick resolution of the issue. I have lost a lot of muscle in my legs too, it is very frustrating. I am working on walking up steps and hills, very slowly of course. I am the same too about vegetables, my husband is great about serving them but they do not taste the same, I used to love them! I like Ben's answer "That's a great idea. we can do that tomorrow".
Dave~ I think your music idea is lovely and I can tell very heartfelt.

Dave's music is wonderful and I have really enjoyed it. Don't worry about the loss of muscle mass. As I have posted before, it comes back even if you don't do much except to use them. The more exercise the better.
Today is such a good day, because everyone seems upbeat. That is the way it should be.
