Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) Support Group
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), also known as acute myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. Patients with AML usually present with symptoms such as fatigue, bleeding, infection, prompting medical attention. An abnormal blood test reading will then result in further testing in a hospital with a hematologist to determine AML.
Thank you, Ed.

I am so glad that you made it to Ed's service. The Gods were certainly against me yesterday. I had to take my daughter to work at 11 AM, which certainly would have left me plenty of time to get ready and leave for the city. Stupidly, I decided to bring my car around the driveway circle in front of my house, because I had some things to take to the dump. The driveway had never been cleared by my plow guy (annoyingly) and we have not been able to use the front of our house for a month at least. Needless to say, I got stuck on the ice and snow, tried to dig out and eventually had to call triple A to bring a flatbed and tow me out. That whole fiasco took 2 hours and I had just run out of time. At 2 PM, however, I lit a candle for Ed and focused in on the memories of having met him twice. His good humor despite all the adversity and his positive outlook. I told him many times that he had absorbed some of Ollie's persona into his soul. I certainly hope that the spirits of Ed and Ollie and the dearest Andrea are sitting around a table in Heaven, having a few beers, and enjoying the cumulative beauty of their collective souls. That's how I want to remember all of them. They touched me to the bone and I hope that in some way, each one becomes a stem cell in my marrow, so that they can remain a permanent part of who I am.
XO Cliff
Love, joy, and hope....always.....ALWAYS
There isn't a day that goes by, when I don't mention Andrea and Ed by name. These two wonderful souls have left their mark on all of us.
