I have been diagnosed with pseudoacromegaly and wonder if there is someone who has knowledge of the disease? I'm on medication to make the body to utilize insulin, but feel no effect (improvement) in the four months I have been using medicines.
Does anyone know of effective treatment?

Look up discoordinant /discrepancy results with igf-1 /gh in acromegaly the things I found say it's common for this to happen even when it is acromegaly . If possible and you can travel look for pituatry centre of excellence in and around your area or if you have to travel and don't mind the cost of paying for a specialist opinion I feel since your igf-1 is high and u have a Tumor you will get what the answers you need this way .me on the other hand I feel like I have no hope , I truly think mine in cyclic episodic hense why bloods don't show it this was maybe your problem in the beginning and why took so long for diagnosis . Sorry just hope I can help I don't want to see anyone else go through this when the answers already there xxx
