I discovered last Sunday morning that I can sing a little bit higher now I've started treatment. It's really exciting!

PS My voice went deeper with acromegaly and I made a CD called "Jon's Hopeless Hits", with renditions of Elvis and John Lennon!

Apparently, since my op, I sound less "old", less gruff.

Tightened up those vocal chords I suppose.

I suppose I should put on a Paul Robeson CD to see if I can still sing in the same range! (It's was me, Paul Robeson and Jim Morrison, but the other two were far better singers).

BTW I assume that the deeper voice was due to vocal cords changing and not because other bits have shrunk, eh Trys?

Hey! Who knows eh?

I've been singing with a very very deep voice, practically sub-sonic (ok, I'm exaggerating). Now I'm able to move from bass to baritone I suppose.

I'm quite excited to reach a few higher notes than before!

I noticed my ranged changed also. It was lower when the GH was higher.
