My pituitary tumor surgery was scheduled for Sep 11th. My endocrinologist did more labs, my growth hormone is now 0 ( without treatment) don't know how that happened. I am totally confused by the whole situation. The neuro surgeon said the tumor has to go since it is filling the whole sella turcica. Now the endo says to wait. The plan is now frequent eye exams and new MRI in Feb 10.
What was your thoughts?

IGF-1 is the constant measure..
we have also been told IGF-1 is the one to be tested now, mind you I think that is because also my daughter is on Somavert and octreotide,and gh is not needed to be tested.
