i used to get dizzy at night you know the room spinning had to sit up and do something for half an hour and then try and go to sleep again. me endo said it was normal as it happens about once amonth. i havent experianced it for ages.
for the past week i have been feeling so dizzy and i get double vision or it goes blurry. no headaches so i dont think its the tumour. im going to get my eyes tested this week to see if that has changed at all. but i was wondering if it could be high blood pressure instead??? im dizzy almost every time i get up or do anything like walking up stairs bendong down to pick things up, etc etc. has anybody else experianced this??

Some people on somatostatin analogues (octreotide, lanreotide, sandostatin) can experience slow heartbeats (eg. less than 60bpm) and irregular heart rythms. It's something to do with the conduction of the heart muscles being reduced.
It probably best if you discuss it again with your doctor to be on the safe side.

We that's a result isn't it? Astigmatism basically is when your eye focuses better in one plane than another (so if you were looking at a fence made of chicken wire then the wires in one direction could look more sharp that the otehr direction). I've got a slight astigmatism, but I wear gas-permeable contact lenses.
Look on the bright side you'll be able to choose from designer frames and look really posh, a great excuse for a new handbag and a pair of shoes too I reckon. :) (Joke, ladies).

Just before my opp I mentioned to my optician that I am going for the opp and that I have the monster then was told by him that it will be good to keep an extra eye by coming more.
Today I was told that with diabetic and other conditions we should inform them as

SO!!! Speak to your local optician and share all you conditions you will be wiser.
IF after you get the new glasses you are still dizzy then it may be that the blood pressure is playing. or it is to do with the tumer. Share all this with your GP and see what he/she says too.
If you really want your blood sugar tested, then many chemists will do it for free or a very small token fee. It takes about then minutes of the time (nine and a half minutes of talking to the pharmacist, and thirty seconds to get the result).
