I am 5'9" normal weight is 180 lbs, I have normal periods but acanthosis nigricans since I was 10 and Cutis verticis gyrata that appeared around the same time. I used to have an overbite with a very small lower jaw, now i have what seems to be the beginnings of an underbite. ive been 5'9 since i was 11 or 12, i am the biggest person in my family, my mother is 5 feet tall my grandmother is 4"11, my father was 5'9, so no tall people in my family. when i was in high school i took a size 10 shoe, i now wear a side 11 and a half, my hands are freakishly huge, bigger than every man I have ever held them up to to compare size. i wear a 9 or 10 ring because i cant get them past my knuckles, I have excruciating joint pain and pain after I exercize and have had TMJ since I was 18 and its only getting worse and i swear to god it feels like my lower jaw is growing and my bite is getting more messed up, i never knew about this disease until my pcp sent me to an endocinologist because she thought I had PCOS but she said something was wrong because I only have the signs of insulin resistance, not anything really messing up my periods. so i was looking at a list of different endocrine disorders and i notice the AN and CVG were both symptoms of Acromegaly and now I need this endocrinologist to test me for acromegaly i think. cuz i know in my heart i dont have PCOS. my eyes keep getting worse also, and I am very muscular even though i never exercise, does this sound like any of your symptoms?
Ive noticed over the last few years my face looks like its puffed out my eyelids are thicker, cheekbones bigger, jaw bigger, nose is way huge compared to before, im 27 and i have the greasy skin of a 15 year old boy, i also sweat profusely
