Having a bad skin day? Year? Life? Join the club. The most common form of acne is known as "acne vulgaris", meaning "common acne." Excessive secretion of oils from the sebaceous glands accompanies the plugging of the pores with naturally occurring dead skin cells (corneocytes) blocking hair follicles. Here you'll find how others are coping with their acne issues, plus new...
My daughter is also having a bit of a struggle with her skin too. Can you get the Neutragena range. She has found them pretty good. I am not exactly sure which one she uses, but I will try to find out for you.
Good luck!!
I'm from France, and during the winter, my skin go really really bad... Using a foundation depends you skin type. I have sensitive/combination skin. Here, we don't have neutrogena makeup products. Use a non-comedogenic foundation. I use the french brand La Roche Posay or Avene. I read that the foundation for acne by Clinique it's really good too.
Before this issue I didn't use foundation, just mascara, concealer, some blush and lip gloss, but now if I don't wear something else I look sick.
I just bought a BB cream by Garniere, it doesn't cover as much as makeup but it feels good, it covers just a little but doesn't feel like a mask and my skin doesn't feel "dirty" like when I use foundation.
Stay away from drugstore brands, yes people use them and some people use them and have perfect skin, but it is made with so many harsh chemicals, its something our skin does not need.
Anyway hope that helped somewhat.

I would recommend trying this instead of concealer because that used to make my breakouts worse.
Also, when I also was unable to go to a dermatologist I found that a sulphur mask was helpful in calming down some of the flared up big red ones. I use Origins but there are many other brands of sulphur masks.

What do you girls think is better, liquid, powder or cream?
So far I'm still with the Garnier BB cream for everyday use and nothing at all if I'm staying home, but if for some reason I have to go to a more formal even I'd need foundation.
i have experimented with makeup since i was 11 years old and now its 10 years later. Mac studio finish concealer is (definitely thick) but does well in concealing, make sure you put a powder over it because if not everything will just smear off. As for powders i like powder plus foundation products, for some reason my skin does not do well with regular powders. I think your own personal preference for cosmetics is fine, (if it works for you), the less makeup the better. If anything i recommend finding a good moisturizer that you could wear daily..and underneath makeup also.
