Benzoyl Peroxide?

I recently started using Benzoyl Peroxide. However, I have dry and sensative skin and after the first wash, I noticed redness and peeling, as well as a huge burning sensation. I stopped after the second/third use (things were getting worse). How to I reverse the side effects?

i used that and i was tolded that i was allgeric to it since it made me peel.

I live in an extremely dry climate and using benzoyl peroxide can do a number to my skin. It peels, gets dry, and all of the nonsense. But I've never gotten to the point where it has totally cleared up my acne.

Am I not applying right? If I wash my face and use benzoyl per at night my acne gets a little better but then my face is super dry and peeling.

Any thoughts?

I would stop using it if basically all it does is make your skin dry and peeling. I'm using saicryllic acid or howeveryouspellit, and it's working much much better. I hope I helpes!

I can't use benzol perozide, but i am using sulfer which really helps clear it but also causes my skin to get dry and peal if i use it too often. I would suggest using a very good moisturerizer. This will help with the dryness.

I would use a very simple lotion like Cetaphyl and just rub it in your hands and just pat it on, don't rub it into your face.
