I have had to go to wearing adult diapers and I really am haveing a hard time with it I guess I just need to talk to someone about this issue. It is all through the night and sometimes during the day

A lot of good advice given. Reading these threads, posting, venting, asking questions with others that understand certainly helps. One thing that helps Me & My family. My caregivers etc. Is just don't talk about it. At least anymore then We have too. Call them briefs and pads. Not diapers. Yes I know what they are. I know Why I need them and what they are for. As much as I try not to think about it. Or talk about it. Every once and awhile stuff happens to remind You unfortunately.

I call them diapers also. I have been in them 24/7 since 2010 myself. At first i was only urinary incontinent, but about 6 years ago my diabetic neuropathy started to act up and i also become fecal incontinent also.

I am a lifelong bed wetter and have been wearing cloth diapers and plastic pants since I was 8 years old. As I am now having daytime wetting problems, I am now in diapers 24/7. I am always happy to chat as well.

I wear the Tena Slip Maxi Active Fit adult nappies to manage my incontinence, which I am lucky to get supplied on the NHS. I am happy referring to them as nappies on incontinence forums but at home and with my wife refer to them as ‘pads’. In hospital recently one of the nurses I saw daily always called them what they are - nappies - and would check and help if I needed changing as I was immobile. No catheters for me though as I always get a UTI with them, so they were happy for me to be in nappies, although I had to supply own.
