HELPING EACH OTHER WITH INCONTINENCE ISSUES AND GETTING OVER THE SOCIAL STIGMA OF HAVING TO USE ,WEAR AND BUY ABSORBENT PRODUCT SUCH AS DIAPERS AND PULL-UPS
I wear nappies 24/7 to manage my incontinence and was recently in hospital and needed help changing. The nurse was asking me about when I lost bladder control and how I came to wearing nappies and I explained that I had tried meds, catheters etc but always got UTIs and so preferred wearing nappies. When I was talking to her, I explained how I had wet the bed as a child, was in nappies til I was 6, was then dry for a few years but started wetting the bed again aged 11 and was back in nappies again until I was 14, when I was pretty reliably dry. Then in my mid 20s I suffered a spinal injury and once again I started wetting the bed. After trying various things without success my incontinence nurse suggested I go back to wearing nappies. Subsequent spinal issues led to me losing daytime control and by my mid 30s I was in nappies 24/7. I am now 64 and as we were talking realised that I had been in nappies for all bar 17 years!

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
