I would hope that you continue to wait until God has put someone in your life that you can share the most amazing experiance that is supposed to be a time of blessing with the one that has waited for you as well..My daughter is 22 and still a virgin, is waiting for god to bring her the person she is meant to be with and share the same path with in this life..Not someone who will take away that most intimate part from you and walk away with it and have nothing to do with you later on..
Please try and educate yourself, be prepared for your husband one day by knowing how to put someone else first..Hopefully you have god first in your life...He speaks very clearly about this and his blessing he brings to those who follow the proper order of life..
That order is God first, then spouse, kids, and then Job..But the order to obtain all those is God first education preparing to take care of someone and have a houshold , be married then kids...If you follow that order you will be very blessed and not man made blessed which has a 90 percent failure rate...Best to wait, date have fun , while getting your education and learn to really care for others in the mean time..

Dont feel alone in this department, sex can come and go, but the first time is the only one that u have to remember. If you think that this is the right thing for you to do, then go ahead but remember the consequences that can occur on your part. Best of luck.

This has been my major concern..waiting on the LORD to bless me with a God-fearing man that will respectfully wait for me until marriage. I do have multiple sclerosis as well so getting pregnant right now is not something I want because I do not have anyone that would be in my corner to help me....to dumbidiot: I will not lose my virginity with just anyone because I know I cannot get it back. That is very special to me....to brandnewangel: I understand where you are coming. I was never the one to "jump on the bandwagon." I really could care less what others are doing that just makes me not the average. You are smart person. there is not problem at all with beeing virgin till 27. As my grandmother said if you will get married at 40 you will have still plenty of time so no hurry. When you will feel like you will not regret staff than do it. In any case you most likely will get hurt first time because as you said you want to lose it. people who are virgins long time lose it sometimes not with the person they plan to stay whole life. As long as you do not try to make your life perfect and do not think that person with whom you loose virginity 100% will be with you for life, you will be fine. You should be prepared that he will take off so if he will not take of you will be pleasantly surprised but if he will be a-hole you did not had great expectations anyway. If you like friend just have sex with him and enjoy it. It is wonderful to loose virginity with somebody you like. Not everybody has that luck. Even if things will not work out you will have great memory of time you spend together.

I disagree with lonly's advice. I don't think you have to have a passive, resigned attitude about the guy, as if, "he's going to do what he's going to do." While it's true that you can't 100% control other people's behavior (even if you are married), you can and must be proactive about evaluating someone's character to see if they are likely to stay with you or not. If your current friend has a problem with the virginity issue, then he has a problem with a very core part of who you've chosen to be. What are the chances of that not ending in hurt? Make sure that the person you wind up risking it with is willing to go out on a limb for you too.

I'm 25 and still a virgin. Never even had a boyfriend! While it can be annoying because I feel like everyone around me is married, engaged or has a baby. I just hope that one day the right person will be here for me. I'm in no rush at all but sometimes I just want to be sure that someone will be there one day. You just got to have faith and know you are making the right decision. I've been on dates before, told them where I stand and had them leave right away... which proves they are not for me and only want me for one thing. It'll all work out in the end, I promise. You are not alone.

Don't bother with your friend, in my opinion. You want to find someone who will love you and not care about this issue.
