Divorce

I'm new here. I am a nursing student and I don't have a lot of time to get on discussion boards to chat. My husband told me 2 weeks ago that he wants a divorce after 17 years. Then a week later I found out he was cheating on me. I have gotten several books to read to help with feelings, bitterness, getting my kids through. I am also on the divorce part of this site but most of them aren't christians and if they are they don't reply like ones. I know I will get through this and it is for the better. I just wish it could be over sooner rather than later.

Weedles, I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this. I know, with all my heart, that God has his plans for us and while it's hard to understand or get through, no matter what issues we are dealing with..HE is here for us.
It will be hard ..The betrayal is there and your feelings may go in a lot of different directions. Please remember that God has a plan for you and when you get through this, your life will be happier than ever before. Thank God in advance for everything. Satan would like us to think God is not with us... We know better..

I AGREE WITH RACHEL. THE ONLY THING I CAN ADD THAT MY CHRISTIAN WIFE DIVORCED ME AFTER 20 YEARS OF MARRIAGE. IT WAS VERY HARD. BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD I GOT THROUGH IT. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
